What to Expect Each Day
A Journey of Prayer, Surrender and Intercession
The daily readings intentionally begin with God’s character, Christ’s lordship, personal surrender, and spiritual listening. From that foundation, each day carries a specific person, group, or need before the Lord.
The order matters. We do not begin by asking God to give us more, make us bigger, or bless plans we have already chosen. We begin by asking Him to search us, consecrate us, reveal His will, and make us ready to obey.
EACH DAY INCLUDES
A focal Scripture to anchor the day.
A focus for the day that turns our attention toward God and His work in us.
A person, group, or need to carry before the Lord.
Listening questions that invite personal and congregational response.
A prayer that joins surrender, intercession, and obedience.
ABOUT THE DAILY PRAYERS
The prayer provided for each day is meant to be a guide, not the full extent of your prayer. Read it slowly, make its words your own, and allow the Holy Spirit to draw your attention to particular needs, people, convictions, or areas of response. Do not simply recite the prayer and move on; use it as a starting point for deeper conversation with God, quiet listening, and personal obedience.
REMEMBER
Intercession is not praying at a distance. As we pray for children, leaders, the sick, the lost, families, and our community, we also ask: “Lord, how are You asking me—and how are You asking Calvary—to participate in Your answer?”
