Prayer for Calvary

Pray it as written or in your own words each day—personally, with your family, or with others—as a shared prayer of surrender, unity, and agreement over our church.

Father, You alone are God, and Jesus Christ is the cornerstone and Lord of this church.

Thank You for Your faithfulness to Calvary throughout the past 40 years. Thank You for the women who prayed and fasted before this church existed and for every person who has prayed, served, sacrificed, given, taught, led, worshiped, and carried the work to this moment.

Forgive us for every time we have depended upon our own strength. Forgive us for allowing activity to replace prayer, convenience to replace sacrifice, and personal preference to replace surrender.

Consecrate us again. Teach us to pray. Teach us to fast. Teach us to listen. Teach us to follow.

Give our Pastor clarity to hear Your voice and courage to lead according to Your direction. Protect his time with You, strengthen his family, and surround him with faithful people who will hold up his hands and help carry the work.

Show every person their value and place within the body. Awaken spiritual gifts. Develop Spirit-filled leaders and servants. Call people beyond attendance and into participation, discipleship, ministry, and mission.

Keep Calvary a place of care, help, healing, truth, and transformation. Help us see those who are hurting and respond with the compassion of Jesus.

We surrender the future to You. Show us what is next. Reveal what must be strengthened, what must be released, what must be built, and where You are positioning us.

Let our prayers become obedience. Let our fasting produce compassion. Let our listening result in movement.

We want to know You—not merely for what You can do for us, but for who You are.

Father, be glorified. Jesus, be Lord. Holy Spirit, lead us.

We are listening. We are available. We are Yours.
